You have seen Ribeira, Luis I Bridge, and Clérigos Tower, now let us take you beyond the tourist attractions for a taste of the real Porto with our Downtown Food Tour – the oldest Food Tour in town.
Like taking a walk with a friend, your tour guide will introduce you to 7 unique tasting locations. At each tasting location on our Downtown Food Tour, you will taste an important element of the cuisine of Porto and the North of Portugal. You will also learn about the families and the history behind each of the restaurants, cafes, and specialty food shops that you visit. In between tasting locations you will hear about the history, architecture, and culture while you walk the streets of this beautiful city called Porto.
Get off the well-worn tourist path and join us for peeking at a side of Porto that travelers rarely see.

List of measures to keeping you safe
Before each tour, your tour guide will proceed to a safe and health briefing with all the information on how to comply with basic infection prevention and control precautions;
Guests are required to use face masks during our tours - even though we would love to see smiles all over our guests’ faces during the Food Tour journey, we will have to ask all to wear a face mask this time;
No physical contact with guests (hand-shakes, kisses or hugs), which includes a safety distance of 1 meter when possible; even though we are a nation who loves hugs, kisses or handshakes, we’ll have to keep a safe distance this time.
Disinfection of all guests’ hands with alcoholic gel before entering the restaurants and after a meal - feel free to bring your own hand sanitizer, but please notice that all restaurants will be able to offer you this.
