OLÁ!
For the next few hours, you will wander through Porto’s best neighborhoods for independent eateries as your Food Passport guides you from place to place, earning you food and drinks as you go.
This is not a self-guided food tour of the so-called “best” places in town. We don’t believe there’s such a thing since it depends on one’s taste. Instead, we’re taking you to our favorite places in town, the ones we go to daily.

NEVER WALK ALONE IN PORTO. TAKE OUR FOOD PASSPORT WITH YOU!
If you enjoy the flavors, stories, and places you’ll be discovering today, share the love! Tag @portofoodtours and use #TastePorto or #TastePortoMoments on social media. We love seeing Porto through your eyes, and your photos, memories, and feedback mean the world to us.
IMPORTANT DETAILS:
- This Food Passport provides you with the opportunity to explore 5 Tasting Locations at your own leisure, allowing you to savor each experience at your preferred pace. Take your time to enjoy each culinary experience!
- As this is a self-guided Food Tour, it is important to DOUBLE-CHECK the schedule of the tasting locations before visiting. We do not own these establishments and their schedules can change unexpectedly.
- For a map of all tasting locations, refer to the official tour route:

SHALL WE START?
Every stop starts with a brief description, opening hours, a Google Maps link, and then all the info necessary for you to enjoy delicious food and drinks. At the bottom of the content, you’ll find a section that looks like this:
🚶 4 minutes from #1
🚶 7 minutes from #2
🚶 2 minutes from #3
🚶 10 minutes from #4
🚶 4 minutes from #5
HOW TO ORGANIZE YOUR ROUTE:
The #numbers indicate the walking distance between tasting locations.
For example, tasting location #1 is a 4-minute walk from tasting location #2.
The tasting locations are:
- #1 Bolhão Wine House
- #2 Confeitaria Moura
- #3 Taxca
- #4 Fábrica da Picaria
- #5 Oficina dos Rissóis
If you are ready to start, we suggest three different ways of doing this:
- Our way – Tasting Locations #1, #2, #3, #4 and #5:
This is easy – start on #1 and eat your way through number #5.
You can start this route on location #1 Bolhão Wine House by Hugo Silva on Google Maps or Apple Maps. - Regular meal way – Tasting Locations #5, #1, #3, #4 and #2:
Start with the appetizers, go on to the “main courses”, and end with dessert. This is the shortest way.
You can start this route on location #5 Oficina dos Rissós on Google Maps or Apple Maps. - Circular Route – Tasting Locations #3, #2, #5, #1 and #4:
You end right next to where you began. This is the longest way.
You can start this route on location #3 Taxca on Google Maps or Apple Maps. - Your chaotic and creative way – We don’t judge!
You can check the distance to other spots at every location and choose what you want to do next. Keep in mind that you don’t need to do it all on the same day!
We won’t give away any spoilers, but get ready: you might fall head over heels for our city! Enjoy the adventure!
With love,
The Taste Porto Foodie Team
