Taste Porto Culinary Vacation Packages

Taste Porto Culinary Vacation Packages

You’re coming to Porto for a few days and want to make the most of it... But it’s not always easy. There are countless tours, mixed reviews, and limited time. You don’t want to rush from place to place, fall into tourist traps, or leave feeling like you only scratched the surface. You’re looking for something real — food, stories, people — but without the stress of planning it all yourself.

That’s exactly how many of our guests feel before they arrive. They want to understand Porto, not just see it. They want meals that mean something, guides who live here, and experiences that connect naturally (not a checklist of disconnected activities).

We get it. You want your days to flow with time to taste, walk, talk, and enjoy Porto at an unhurried pace. So do we!

Discover our Taste Porto Vacation Packages

Our multi-day packages bring together thoughtfully designed food and cultural experiences, spread over 2, 3, or 4 days in Porto. Instead of booking separate activities and hoping they fit together, our packages offer a slower, more meaningful way to experience the city, where each day builds naturally on the last.

What’s included in our Taste Porto Vacation Package

  • The Food, Wine & Culture Escape (2 Days) is perfect for a short stay with depth. It begins with our Arts & Culture Tour (what we call the Porto Beginners’ Guide Tour, and what guests often describe as their “aha!” moment in the city). You’ll then step into Porto’s culinary past on our Vintage Food & Wine Tour, walking down the city’s memory lane through traditional dishes and classic wines (including a Port Wine masterclass). From €224 per person.

  • The Taste Porto Signature Experience (3 Days) brings together three defining sides of Porto. You’ll explore local flavors on the Downtown & Bolhão Market Food Tour, the longest-running food tour in Porto. From there, you’ll continue down memory lane on our Vintage Food & Wine Tour, before discovering Porto’s modern edge on our Craft Beer & Food Tour (proof that Porto is about much more than port wine). From €233 per person.

  • The Immersive Porto Food & Cooking Package (4 Days) is our most complete experience. It starts with the Arts & Culture Tour, your “aha!” introduction to Porto, followed by both our Vintage Food & Wine Tour and Downtown & Bolhão Market Food Tour, building a full picture of the city’s food culture. The journey ends in the kitchen with a hands-on cooking class — cook like a local, eat like family — where everything comes together around the table. From €467 per person. Less than €156 per day.

Many are WSET-certified, and all are trained to keep groups small, relaxed, and personal. We don’t believe in rushing, scripts, or shortcuts... just honest food, thoughtful pacing, and meaningful conversations.

Worried about dietary restrictions?

We know that Traditional Portuguese gastronomy can be a little difficult to navigate when it comes to the so-called special dietary requirements. With that in mind, we've designed this multi-day package in a way that allows us to accommodate most requirements so that a larger amount of travelers can participate and enjoy. We've worked diligently with our partners on this mission to bring Portuguese gastronomy into the XXI century, and we continue to search together for alternatives that are enticing, adequate, delicious, and still reflective of the local traditions.

Reviews

They're quick to respond. Our flight got delayed, so I had to reschedule my Vintage Port Wine and Food tasting tour. They were able to reschedule us without any issue. Our tour guide was Miguel, who was so passionate about the culture and history of Porto, really funny and engaging, knew everyone in town, and had so many great tips and recommendations. I highly recommend this tour for anyone who wants the local experience, not to get caught up in the tourist traps. It was a lot of good food and wine that represented Porto (you'll hit all of the must-eats and drink the must-drink wines!).

My husband and I don't typically seek out many tours when we travel but it came recommended by someone who is actually from Porto. We are so happy we obliged! It was a wonderful opportunity to go into small hidden gems and try traditional Portuguese dishes (including dishes that aren't obvious to those visiting). Sergio was our guide and he was absolutely lovely and knowledgeable. He gave a short history and background about each food we ate. Loved that we also got to go into the food market which was an authentic experience and likely would not have found it on our own. Had a great variety of places and types of foods to try-- eat light that day beforehand! We had such a blast with our small group that we ordered a bottle of wine and stuck around for 2 more hours! Also, they are conscious of COVID-19 precautions which is greatly appreciated.
